I'm not trying to be skeptical on this matter but why do people dare to not to believe in God? After watching the third episode of Glee (season 2), there are thousands of questions that keep playing in my head. I'm not trying to be discriminate or disrespect others' thoughts I just wondering why there are some humans that are dare to say that there's no God. This is just a personal opinion from me, no offense.
If we say that there is no God, then how would miracles happen? How does the planets rotate on their axes orbiting the sun without colliding with each other? How does night and day alternate? How plants grow? How clouds floating and hanging without any lines? How a fetus can grow in its mother's womb? Have we ever thought what kind of power that has these marvelous and great abilities in doing all these?
Sue Slyvester claimed that she didn't believe in God after she used to pray hard to Him asking Him to help her sister but God didn't help her. That made her think it is not because she didn't pray hard enough but it is because no one is listening to her. If we think using our rational mind, yes Sue is true but miracles are not meant to be rational. Rationally, can we live with no heart or a liver? NO WE CAN'T! but why? those miracles are not meant to be taken as rational matters caused they're aren't. Plus we are the slave of the creator and that is why we are being tested by Him. Don't we think if He tested us means He remembered us and love us?
When 'philosophers' dare to ask 'Where is God if he really exist?' Then why do we believe in love, pain, happy, sad feelings when we actually can't see those or touch those. Aren't they real? Yes we can feel it but what about Heaven and Hell? Can we really feel it? We believe that they'll be next life and good people died to be in the Heaven while bad guys will go to Hell. We believe in angels and devil's. Can we really feel it? WE CAN'T but we still believe there is Heaven, there's Hell, Angels and Devils do exist. So what about God?
Have we ever ask ourselves why do there is life on this earth? Why do we live? What are the main mission of living here in this world? Why can't we just stay in the Heaven straight after we're out from the womb or do we really need a womb to be born? GOD is there but not among us the human. If He does, don't you think we can do miracles to? Can you build your own earth with oxygen, plants, sea, living creatures to be in it? Our brain is limited and it's a lie to say that we can be like God or I don't believe in God. He made this world full with challenges and that will differentiate between a good person and others and we as the slave should just live in this temporary world and do our best to be accepted by Him to be in the Heaven and be blessed by Him.
Again, this post meant to nobody. I'm just spitting my thoughts on the topic and arguments in Glee. No meant of offenses. Thanks and till next post! So Long~
in reply there are many answers to your thoughts
ReplyDeletefor example the planets circling rounf the the sun is called orbit different masses of the planets cause them to be at different distances in addition to this there is possibility that they can collide as meteors are striking earth every so often as well as other planets.
not sounding rude, but why would anyone want to devote their one and only life worshipping something that hasnt been proven. no matter how hard you pray nothing will change. people living in poverty dont recieve help from god, people who are ill dont either. there is the off chance that a religious person will become cured from their illness and what is this called - a miricle from god.
i do not believe in god, but i do not believe that hes not there. i just dont see why anyone would waste a lifetime trying to talk to, recieve help from some higher being that doesnt talk back and creates misery for more people than he does good.
also the fact that there are so many religions that all follow a similar plot makes me question it aswell, surely there cant be different religious gods looking after different people. another point would be why do churches collect money, honestly if a church was the house of god he wouldnt let anything happen to it would he, he would help out those people in it without the need of money. there is one main book in which has been written by different people people at different times, and these people that wrote it how do they know what god wants? here is a question, do you believe everything you read? try thinking for yourself and enjoy your life now instead of relying on someone who probably doesnt exist and wont help.
ok, I got your point. Let's put religion aside and talk as a friend :) and I'm emphasizing here that am not arguing something that you don't believe in, OK. Hope we're good and open-minded in talking about this. Yeah you're right when you said the planets have their own masses and that is why they don't collide each other. But have you ever thought that who created those masses and those orbits? Who created the world, this life? Ok you said there's no miracles that God proved to us. He lets us down when we needed Him but have you ever thought that without those challenges and upside-down, life would be meaningless. What do you think life would be if everything runs smoothly? It is not challenging anymore and life will lost its value. You see people die everyday. Babies born every seconds. Don't that enough to say there's a power that allows and created those? You say He didn't talk back, dear friend are you expecting God to talk back to you? Showing Himself and tell you 'I'm your God?' would you believe in that? Then would you ask yourself if God can be like human, then you should also have the ability to do what He can such as create your own diamond from soil or stop your finger nails from growing.
ReplyDeleteDear friend, when you said 'i do not believe in god, but i do not believe that hes not there' isn't this proves that there are miracles that had happen around you? you can feel there's some kind of power that control the universe but you barely can see it with your naked eyes. Like I said in my post what about anger, love, sad, happy feelings? You can't touch and see those but you do believe that those exist. You said He left us in misery but don't you think there are reasons behind those. For instance, when the poor people are left in poverty, isn't that is the best motivation that will encourage them to work harder for a better life? Look at the Indians, the gap between the people are humongous why can't those rich people help around and lighten those burden? God didn't help them because this is a some kind of test that He gave to those rich people to help around. God is the most intelligent power that we can ever think of. Don't look at His existence with your rational mind. I know from what you've commented you talk more on rationality. Friend, miracles that you're expecting are not rational. That is why they're called miracles.
I'm not trying to against your believe but I think this argue can be a good way to open mine and yours mind. In answering your ultimate question, Yes I do believe in everything that I read in Quran! and with reasons but before I answer further on your question I just want to ask you a question (hope you're open with this). What kind of proof that God has to show you to make you believe that He does exist and He's there always for you?
