You yawn when you're sleepy. FACT! You use pen to write. FACT! these are all facts that you will never argue upon because you know they are TRUE. Ok, what if someone told you ice creams are Chinese foods. Would you believe that? Haha so this will make you start to seek for the truth and think on the rationality of the statement. Bruno Mars heat!

Wowey, it feels like Bruno Mars's coming tomorrow! The heat, the tense, the excitement, the steam all here in one. The Hawaiian singer is landing his flight here in Malaysia on 10th April and all I can say for now is HE'S AWESOME trillion times and I really really really want to go to his concert! Man!. Haha

Look at his asian-american look. He can look like a Malaysian at certain time and angle. I love his face structure! the jaws are hot! No offense just an opinion. There was rumor saying the tickets are sold out! What??!!!! the concert is like 1 month plus to go and the tickets are out? I know that these Justin Bieber's and Maroon 5's concerts are sold out even 3 months before the day but please please at least I can buy a ticket to PWTC on 10th April before it sold out!

I feel weird because I know I hate crowds and I hate concerts but this is something different no one can tells how different it is. hahah Like Bruno always says 'It's better if you don't understanding'. I love the melody of his songs. They're simple, relax yet artistic. All his songs are melody driven and he admitted that he's a fan of music and he proved that was insanely RIGHT!

Ok, if I can say something to him, it will sounds something like this 'I'll be waiting on the other side when you're ready to catch a grenade for me, let's just pass this long distance and make a great runaway for a day. Count on me!'

Valentine's Day

I'm not saying that I'm pious but sometime it is sad to see a Muslim denying something that is in the Islamic teaching. I meant no harm to other religions or beliefes. Different beliefs will have different kind of thoughts and theories I would say but if you claimed yourself as a Muslim, why on earth do you have to against what is true?

Valentine is just around the corner, trust me million of Muslims will celebrate it. I'm not against anything but it is actually how you celebrate the thing. Valentine doesn't mean you must make love in a cheap or high-class hotel, and it is not wrong for legal husband and wife to celebrate it that way. These days, unmarried couples are the one who gets too excited celebrating it in a wrong way.

Why it has to be hotel for the birds and the bees to rejoice the day? You can bring your special one to a dine in an exclusive restaurant, propose your girlfriend and plenty proper activities to be done. This is the reason why today's family institution is down graded, social issues are like mushrooms after the rain, parents has no more influence on their kids, child abandonment cases and the list goes on and on.

I ain't expert in giving speech or dakwah but I really hope that we the Muslim still have the sense of obeying our religion and stop feeling caged by the teaching. There are reasons why those are prohibited and please don't degrade the morality of the human nature. So long :)

Fashion Freak

Don't laugh but yeah I just so to know that there is an International festival called Fashion Freak. I never thought it is a term to point those who are freaks in wearing exotic and weird outfits. No, that is not the aim of this post. I have no intention of making fun of any favorite events. Iffah Garib = Fashion Freak. In a lame word, I'm dumb in fashion. Yeah2 I know some of my friends are really good in fashion. They can still look charming in anything they wear.

I think this way, I'm a student and I should wear something that is reflecting my age and career. Maybe that's the difference between engineering students and other courses. From a wild observation, I think most of the engineer-to-be wear the simplest T-shirt with jeans to class, outdoors and even casual occasions. Seriously!

Wow I saw few pictures of a friend of mine and I was stunned to see her wearing blazer and heels to a daily dinner. DAILY! Urm, Blair Waldorf is not a designer she's an evil dictator of taste but everytime she appears, she'll look stunning and sophisticated but emerge with the occasion. Maybe I'm too scare to be overdress unlike what those in grooming taught 'Overdress is better than underdress' Haha. Salute to them for being brave enough to dress.

You know sometimes I adore the arts that those fashion designers have, the way they imagine the dress to be looked like the cuttings and linings are perfect but as a freak, I would say  I WEAR WITH THE OCCASION! But I'm relief that there are thousands people around are like me. They're fashion freak too. haha but most importantly is 'you are whatever you wear'. For me, go overdress with thick make up is just so vintage and outdated. Go for something simple and light. Be like a little Taylor Swift not like Lady Gaga or Madonna. Because I am still young and I'm not making myself look like a mother or three.

the DEBATE!

Haha ok since I can now legally vote during the election then I should take these free time to know A LITTLE BIT about these issues. Latest issue, the debate between the Prime Minister and Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI). As a democratic country, I think this is a good and healthy progress in Malaysia because at least the citizen will be enlighten on what is actually happening to the country behind the scene.

Not to be on anyone side, I just think that the USA is having kinda great democracy laws and practices where everyone has the right to give their opinions. I watched once DSAI debated with one of the minister back in 2007/2008 on the fuel price. So this time I guess it's going to be a better debate and more informative way off learning and get to know my country better. Haha yeah I admit that I couldn't care less about those but it feels good to know about the political conspiracy and propaganda.

 

The PM should go for the debate. Really he's the leader and leader never says give up or surrender. He should be a good model and example in teaching the young generation how a good leader should act like. I can;t wait to glue my eyes if the debate is so to happen soon. hihi

Loft is not Attic

When people race for money to meet their needs and necessaries they tend to forget the future. Yeah I'm not denying it, that is just too common and typical. But when you think back chasing those luxuries really make people insane and irrational.

When you have your very first touch on your salary, what will be 'vroom-ing' into you head? A car! yeah I know many one-night-millionaire proved that hahah. Car, they spent hundred grants to buy a luxury car in CASH. BMW, Jaguar, Audi, Mercedes, Volkswagen,  some even dreaming of owning a Ferrari. Wow living like heaven to drive those car soon. But after 3 years, they'll sell those cars to buy a brand new car because they can't stand the high maintenance of those assets.

I have some seniors that I know, they bought new cars when they had their first income but now they are in debt and troubles in buying a house. Isn't a house is more valuable these days? I bet it is a little bit harder to find a reasonable house in Malaysia. So at the end of it they have a car but renting house instead of owning one. Not saying that car is not a priority but should go for the cheaper, simpler and lower maintenance first.

House is a good investment cause the value will keep on increasing by years unlike those cars. I see that's the different between Chinese and Malay in Malaysia, sorry I'm not criticizing or complaining but this is the fact. Chinese are good in investing, they seem to be poor or average but they own hundred grams of gold bars, own few houses that they rent to others. In Shah Alam for instance most of the MSU students are renting the houses owned by Chinese.

Well I see there are some bright futures in everyone eyes, lets make an improvement and don't let the desires block our rationality and clog our minds from being intelligent. All the best to us and cheer. Till next post, So long :)

Zizan and Pak Nil

Urm, I heard that there is something happen between Zizan Raja Lawak and Aznil Haji Nawawi. I'm still blur and unsure about the issue buy I can tell you it was bad. I read some comments in both celebrities' tweeter and I think Zizan made a very big mistake when he made fun of Pak Nil's name. He called him Aznil Nawawa instead of Aznil Nawawi.

Pak Nil sounded unhappy and kinda angry with that because for him it wasn't a joke when you start fooling around with other people dad's name. Kinda agree with him. I don't really like people to spell my dad's name Gharib because my dad is Garib not Gharib

For Zizan, I think sometimes jokes come with limitation. Making jokes are good but remember it can kills you too. I used to be in this position when I made fun of someone's language (wasn't my intention honestly). Well, that was a mistake and kinda hate myself doing it because till now I can't put humpty dumpty together back again. Jokes are jokes but people's sensitivity is a point too. Maybe there's no intention but you made the mistake seek for forgiveness before it is too late.

Moral of the value: Kerana mulut badan binasa. Saya pon pernah berada dalam kedua-dua posisi so I'm on the fence but hope Zizan and Pak Nil can settle this between them ASAP cause I'm a fan of these both awesome jokers! 

Where are those gentlemen?

Not to criticize nor complain about most of the typical Malay guys in Malaysia but I just couldn't find more gentlemen these days. Haha sorry no offense, this statement is based on my observation as a typical Malay too. Unlike some Chinese and Indian in Malaysia they are more protective and helpful. I know I shouldn't make this post because maybe there are people who will feel offense about it. Please don't get me wrong I just want to reasoning my thoughts.

Maybe I watched too much Western movies. These made me think 'Isn't it good if there is _(character's name)_ in Malaysia'. When I asked some guys on how do they interpret gentlemen, common answers are to have a good looking face, good smell, good car, power in words, Idaman Malaya and others. hahaha ok those are all materials and physical appearances. Prophet Muhammad for instance, he's a gentlemen but he has no car or materials, he only has a good heart. He help people regardless a man or a lady, old or young.

Some men would also think himself a gentleman if he acted, helpful and soft-spoken to a lady. Haha they think they are but they aren't. Gentleman should not only be good to a woman but be good with his friends regardless their genders, good to their families and parents, good to their surroundings, honest in their speak, soft (not to be like a girl but easy to talk and discuss with), avoid bad words in conversation, cool with any problems faced. Anyway this is only how I think a gentleman should have.

Please again no offense to anyone but seriously where on earth does gentlemen in Malaysia gone? Don't have to act like those in the movies or Western films (raining speech or too many compliment) and yeah just be yourself in a positive way. Bad attitudes even their are yourself, just keep them silently in you and try to kick them out. hehe OK GUYS, have fun putting some 'gentlemen' actions in your days. Most important thing is 'It's is better trying then doing nothing and Don't over doing it, make small changes and let the flow brings you'

Anugerah Juara Lagu 26

Yucks to the winners! hahah ok that was my response towards the result of AJL. How on earth do 'Noktah Cinta' and 'Tolong Ingatkan Aku' are in the top 3. Euuuuuw!!! not my taste. Haha ok2, I think Ana won because of those wordings in her song. Honestly the song is expressing a great massage but I hate it because I don't understand her sing/pronoun. Can't hear clearly. With the combination of M Nasir, Habsah Hassan and Pacai haha I bet they love those poetry wordings, so she won. And not to forget her performance yesterday was a no-no. Didn't impress me much with those cages and so called 'a magic show'. Sorry Ana for the comments but you won and congrats!

Hafiz, urm urm urm urm I'm actually thinking where is the specialty of that song that melted the judges' hearts. Ajai booo to him don't really love his song writing. They sounded like copyrighted from others. But a great compliment to Hafiz for his vokal and performance. The hiatus was really a great gimmick, you made people in the stadium shouted hahha. The song was a little bit common, nothing special but you won at least it's yours anyway. Congratz to you and the composers!

'Hanyut' was a darn great awesome bomb song and performance. To me, Faizal Tahir is still the winner!!!! no one can really replace his creativity and uniqueness. He comes in package, great in everything it seems like a perfect creation (smart performance, awesome vokal, fresh songs, everything!) haha. CONGRATS MAN! you're still the best..

My prediction was a mess! Haha I thought Yuna can win one of the place because her song was great even it was a bit slow but the song is DIFFERENT! Urm but she won last year so I guess that is how they keep the prestigious. Giving those to the newbies. Next year AJL my vote goes to the 'Kalu Berpacaran' by Suhaimi Mior Hassan feat Ana Rafalli and Altimet. The song brings a different massage and align with the current issue in Malaysia.

Rational-Sacrifice

This is a story of a boy, I try to make it is my own words

Have you ever feel fed-up with your parents? You cried for them and care too much for them but all you have is sadness from them? How actually can we confront them and telling that you are tired with how they treat you. You try your best to make them happy, you made yourself useful to them while you can, you hate those who hurt them, you want to be the best kids that they have but all you've got is only an annoying feeling and words.

Parents are like everything to us but all you can see is they care too much to your other sisters/brothers and all they see from you is burden. Which is worst? A son cries for his parents or A father cries for his son? You ask that to yourself. Making its right is so hard I know, I saw few families who are not complete and my sympathy goes to them.

Parents, we as sons and daughters we ask no much from you, we just want you to be fair and show your love equally. Making you proud is our ultimate mission cause we know that those can make you smile and tell the whole world that you're fine and happy. Tears by tears soothing through our cheeks but we are confuse should we be rude to you or just keep the pain inside. We're the shoulders and we're the hand that could hold you when you need one. They are the one that you washed and cared 20 years ago. We missed your laughs, your cheers, your care and even your happy-cry for us. Where else can we go?

Dedicated to all fathers and mothers outside. Thanks to XXXXX for the story. Hope you'll be find :) No matter how bad they are, we have their blood and flesh. Make them happy while we can even that needs sacrifices

2010 is over!

10, 9, 7, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! That was the countdown that I missed last couple of days ago. Haha unfortunate for me because there is no big celebration and fireworks in Johore Bahru. Ok, 2010 just left us and giving 2011 the way to be with us for the next 365 days. More challenges and memories will be down the lane for us.

I'm gonna miss 2010 and hope for the best in 2011. Nothing much can be cried on, laughed off or regret for because all we left are memories and experiences that made us the person who we are now. 

What were happen in 2010 are a wake up call for everyone that we should be prepared that we are getting older and one step closer to the end of the day. Natural disasters and tragic accidents all over the world happened in a blink of an eye sacrificed thousands of life. Together lets make those as a reminder that the day is coming and are we really ready to face it

Lets pray for the best and hope that 2011 will be better and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all. So long :)

It is about a con-man, Neal Caffrey who tries to escape from the prison to find his girlfriend. Unfortunately, he was captured for the second time by an FBI agent, Peter Burke. The series is more on the deal where Caffrey will help Burke by giving information about white-collar criminals as a part of his work-release program from the prison.

Sorry people I have a joke that I NEED to share with all, it has been ever since, that I have a bad habit that I don't think I can live without. I'll feel sad, touched, sober and sensible every single time I hear soft/light English song at night. I'll only feel those AT NIGHT, ok! Look I think I really need a psychiatrist and a psychologist... hahah

You know, whenever I hear those songs, I will just put myself walking alone by a beautiful lake under the light of the moon in a thick clothes to warm me down from the breeze and chill wind of the night. Obviously it's not in Malaysia. With covered hand in the huge pockets on the clothes, I'll walk and stare at the beauty of the lights on high building and people wandering around in pairs. (I think I have the goof to be a novelist :P)

Petroleum Engineer

Breaking news by Petronas, one of the pipeline platform in eastern coast of Peninsular Malaysia was on fire yesterday. So because of that, I saw several comments and statuses saying 'Save the earth, Kill the petroleum engineers!', 'Petroleum engineers are environment murderer' and so on. I'm kinda pissed off reading those because they have no rights to say that. Ok kinda agree many people will have many different thoughts but is the accident occurrence was in the field plan? HELL NO and NEVER!

As a student who will be called as a Petroleum Engineer in 6 months time I'm sad because people outside are still having somekind of narrow and out-dated minds. Petroleum Engineers work day and night, sacrifice their energies working around the clock with less time for their families, expose with hazards every single tick of the time and putting their life at the edge. They work hard to the best limit to avoid those catastrophic events but sometimes those are beyond human power. We can't purely stop accidents from happening.

Do we realize that as a petroleum consumers we are the one that murdering the environment. We use petrol/fuel in our cars, we buy cars, we wear clothes, we sit on the chair. Those demands and necessary items that made the petroleum in high demand. They, the engineers work to extract those resources out for our own benefits. So they are not the killer! WE ARE! If you think we should kill those petroleum engineers, then kill yourself first before you can do that. We all are responsible for the bad impacts on the environment. Blame OURSELVES then.

Why do we fight?

Ok, since it's holiday, I'm kinda lazy to update my blog. Sorry my bad haha just can't sit in front of my lappy 24-7 around the clock. Actually I feel frustrated because I thought I can change the world but I CAN'T. No one can! In a day, have you ever experience not talking bad about others, argue with others on a silly thing or feel annoy with any one? That is SOOOO impossible isn't it?

Why do we feel that? Why can't we be open with anything? Why should we be too sensitive with any advices or comments from others? Why do we hate others when they try to make us a better person? Do we feel perfect with ourselves? Are we perfect? Can we be perfect?

NO WE CAN'T NEVER BE PERFECT! that is why we have to take those advices and try to improve ourselves on the necessary thing. I actually feel sad to see my cousins hating each other just because of a stupid picture and silly words which made for fun. But when someone take it seriously and became too sensitive, they stop to talk to each other and they can even barely to see each others' faces.

Don't you think that this is just a silly and small matter to argue upon. I think it's true when my Dad said 'Anger will make us a killer'. We killed good relations when we angry to one. We hate them because they made mistakes. We barely forgive them. We arrogantly avoid to seek for forgiveness. That is why the world now is not a good  place to live in as it has already full with hatred, envious, jealousy, egos, self-centered, greedy and disrespect. The only way to make this world a better place is when we starts to believe in God and loves others like we  love ourselves.

Pray for the best and lets turn ourselves to Him as He's the only power that can change the world in a blink of an eye. So long pals :)

Judgmental

Human or should we call people will never be far from being judgmental. That is why we really concern about our first impression whenever you are about to put yourself on the stage. If you see kids running around here and there while barking and shouting in a train what would you first think about them? (Am I sounded like Sue Slyvester in Glee? haha) These kids are too noisy why on earth does their father just let them running and making riot here. This is not a playground Sir! That would be how we judge the situation but actually the kids' mother had just passed away and that is the only way for the kids to entertain and release them from the burden. That is why daddy let them playing around.

Haha, this is judgmental. Why do first impression important. Whenever I attend any grooming classes or talks they'll always remind us about first impression. This is because first impression is a typical judgment. What would your wear to meet your to-be parents in law? what about a job interview? Class? Formal dinner? Would you wear your lingerie out to meet your parents in law? oh hoho would you wear a bottle of perfume to impress them? No right, because you do not want them to think bad about you.

Cheesy huh. haha yeah so all I want to remind all and MYSELF it is normal for you to hate a person at first but try to be a good frienemy and you'll find out that those weaknesses in one can turn out to be something good and those good things about them can remain to be the best thing to talk upon. 

Have fun people finding your frienemy and judgmental is just an idea that you have to alert yourself to be aware and prepare for surprises. So long :)

Revenge

Can revenge really make us feel happy? Does it really works? But making someone suffer doesn't make your pain go away right?. Yeah experiences really told me that. It is normal as a human when we say "you'll get what you deserve", "you did that to me and why can't I?", "it's your time now, soon I'll pay that back". I used those words everytime I'm acrimonious about something to someone somebody around me.

Last night made me think does my plan is the best way to tell someone that I don't like what he /she did to me? I am a bully victim maybe because I'm too small to get a respect or too short to be seen.  hahha *pulling off my feet* I was actually an invisible in those eyes. My heart, my feeling, my privacy, my intuition those really don't exist in me aren't they? I thought of putting a revenge but not really a revenge but somekind of wake up call to make people realize, 'Hey Iffah is here, OK!'

But after wisely think and judge it with some intuition and intrinsic within me, haha. I just don't think of putting one because eventually I've gone through this for quite sometime. Not saying kinda expert but kinda immune with those and it's normal for me to be the bottom girl. I don't care because after all that has been always my place that pushes me to work hard to prove that one day I'll be a better human with better life and make them realize.

It's true people, revenge really can't make you feel happy, keeping those bad thoughts really make you feel like a dead mannequin that is waiting to be disposed off. So why burden yourself thinking of revenging. Prophet Muhammad was being bullied through out his life but he didn't put any revenges, instead he seek for Allah's help to open up his enemies' hearts. Let the Almighty does His job caused all this is His granted and He's the only power that has the right to do that.
